In the Northeastern corner of Jersey lies a world of it’s own, filled with exotic animals that you would never expect to come across in this part of the world. Many of them you would be extremely lucky to encounter in any part of the world, as numbers are declining.
The park is run by The Durrell Foundation, whose focus is on wildlife preservation and the conservation of endangered species. They do conservation work in the field across the world, and they also in many cases breed animals locally for reintroduction into the wild to help populations grow.
